WELCOME TO FEED NOLA NEIGHBORHOOD.ORG
The Story Behind Feed Nola Neighborhoods Community Service & Youth Program was implemented by our Founder Darnisha Lumpkin. Who one day had a vision to serve God's mission in her community. Every morning she would drive to work and pass up the city bridge and see so many homeless people living under there. It really would be disappointing to see she stated. She said it was time to take action and get out there in the community and make a difference to help. She said one day at a time it takes. She said she always wanted to make an impact for the community & youth so by doing that she has created a series of programs giving back to the youth citizens of the GNO who are in high school and college for a chance to receive community service hours and a small education grants as well. Darnisha has many more great plans for the organization expansion for the future to come and is adding more programs for developmental opportunities in her community for the next generation.
